Understanding And Accessing Divine Creativity

Shortly after Jerry Cates -- a dear friend and the inspirational father of Big House Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia -- passed away in September 2023, I felt clearly that I had a prophetic word for our church. It was simply this: that a CREATIVE EXPLOSION was coming to our community.

I don't often give prophetic-type words and I considered bringing it to the congregation in those weeks in the fall of 2023. But I didn't. Weeks passed and I continued to ponder it until an opportunity to share it came in Spring 2024.

The word was anchored in Paul's doxology in Ephesians 3:20-21 which includes an amazing statement of God's unlimited creativity. I began to look at the rest of Chapter 3 of Ephesians to see what Paul may have been saying in the context of that doxology and how that might influence my understanding of how God's creativity can flow through human vessels.

This message is the result of that study, so it's both a "word" for a specific church and a study in Divine Creativity. My hope was the word would inspire creativity in all areas, but specifically for:
